BRADBOURNE RDA CHRISTMAS PARTY

The 2010 Christmas party had to be cancelled due to heavy snow but no such problems affected this year’s party, which proved to be a huge success. Nearly 200 riders, volunteers, friends, family and supporters came to Sevenoaks Community Centre to enjoy Mrs. Lyford’s delicious party food and meet their friends.

 

The raffle table groaned under the weight of a wonderful selection of prizes and Santa Claus arrived on schedule with his trusty elf to distribute Christmas presents to all the riders.

It wasn’t just a party, though. It was also a prize-giving and an opportunity to celebrate the achievements of our riders throughout the year.  It was also a chance to thank some of our longest-serving volunteers, such as Jean and Wendy (below left) who both celebrated 25 years as Bradbourne volunteers.

 

We congratulate all our prize-winners and are very grateful to everyone who contributed to the success of the party.  A good time was definitely had by all !
