Bradbourne RDA - Hickstead

SOUTH-EAST REGIONAL DRESSAGE COMPETITION, HICKSTEAD

8th JUNE 2011

It was an early start for Bradbourne horses Polly, Bisto and Harlee as they were prepared for their journey to the South-East Regional Dressage Competition at Hickstead on Tuesday 8th June 2011.

But the preparations went smoothly and finally it was time for everyone to set off for one of the most prestigious dressage venues in the world.

Riders Anna, Brian, Charlotte, Denise, Isobel, Jackie, Lisa, Miles and Samantha had all worked very hard for their events. They put in excellent performances on the day and there were plenty of rosettes to take home. Special congratulations go to Samantha, who won a Rose Bowl for achieving the highest marks in a led class, and Brian, Denise and Isobel who qualified for the National Championships at Hartpury on 9th & 10 July. We wish them all the very best of luck.

Special mention must also go to Bisto who managed to do a little ‘extra something’ when he halted at X in the middle of Samantha’s test!

We’re very grateful to all our helpers, without whose help the we just couldn’t have done it. Special thanks go to Nikki and Madeleine for taking such good care of the horses.
