HEAVY HORSE SHOW
SHOREHAM
5th SEPTEMBER 2010
The annual Heavy Horse Show at Shoreham is traditionally held on the first Sunday
in September - and almost without fail the organisers (the Lions Club of Sevenoaks)
manage to arrange good weather. The show on 5th September 2010 was no exception and
the crowds turned out in large numbers to see the wide variety of stalls and displays.
There were dogs of every shape and size - and every level of obedience!

There were carriages of every shape and size . . .

And Bradbourne RDA had its usual selection of stands, including ‘feed the ponies'
- where Jimmy, Billy and Sid competed as usual to eat the largest number of carrots
and get the most attention from members of the public.
Despite very full tummies, Billy and Jimmy put on a highly professional display of carriage driving and were later invited to take part in the grand parade in the main display arena, where they behaved really well despite the crowds and the unfamiliar surroundings.

The day was a huge success and we are very grateful to the organisers and to everyone who helped set up and look after the Bradbourne stalls.
We’re already looking forward to next year’s show.
